The Shinkansen ( new main line), also known as the bullet train, is a network of high-speed railway lines in Japan operated by four Japan Railways Group companies. Shinkansen literally means new trunk line, referring to the tracks, but the name is widely used inside and outside Japan to refer to the trains as well as the system as a whole. (Wikipedia)
These, my darlings, are pretty eyes candies by photographer Tim Lisko. I’m sure we’re quite used to hearing “slow things down, take a moment to look around”. What Tim did was the complete opposite. Let it rush past you, grab a snapshot of it and see how pretty it can be too. These are proof, that fast, is not necessarily bad at all.
More Shinkansen goodness.
